- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In one bowl, thoroughly mix the following ingredients:
- 2 cups of oats
- 1 cup of dried fruit (craisins, for example)
- 1 cup of sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
- 2 scoops of whey protein powder
- In a second bowl, thoroughly mix the following ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- Thoroughly mix the contents of the two bowls together
- Grease an 8x8 baking pan and press the mixture into the pan
- Let sit 10 minutes
- Place in the oven and cook for 20 minutes
- Let cool and cut into squares or rectangles or whatever suits your fancy
They'll keep for at least a couple of weeks, and will do their job keeping you on the trail.
