Q2. Does HPG ship international? How much does it cost?
Answer:
We do ship internationally. We have quite a few countries in our shipping system, but not all. If your country is not in the system, email
info@hillpeoplegear.com and we can add it. The shipping cost is based on the weight of your order, you will get a shipping quote once you add the items to your card and enter your address.
Q3. Does HPG ship FPO/APO/DPO ?
Answer:
Yes.
Q4. I have an idea for a piece of gear or modification to existing gear.
Q5. What size Kit Bag do I need?
Answer:
The Recon Kit Bag, Runner's Kit Bag, Heavy Recon Kit Bag, and Original Kit Bag V2 all have the same footprint which is 7.5" X 11.5" across the chest and will all fit the same size firearm that falls within those dimensions. The Runner's and Recon both have a firearms compartment and an outside zippered pocket. The difference is the Recon Kit Bag has PALS webbing on the outside to attach pouches. The Heavy Recon Kit Bag has the firearms compartment and main storage compartment, but no outside zippered pocket. It has laser cut PALS to add pouches to the outside. It has more storage capacity than the Runner's and Recon, but less the Original Kit Bag. The Original Kit Bag has the firearms compartment, a larger main compartment, and an outside zippered pocket. The Original has the most internal storage out of all the Kit Bags.
The Snubby Kit Bag, and Snubby Kit Bag Original Pattern have a smaller footprint, which is 6"x 8.5" across the chest. They can fit up to a Glock 19 size handgun. These bags are not necessarily designed for smaller handguns, but for people with smaller chest measurements. Most people will be better off with on of the Kit Bags mentioned up above. The Snubby Kit Bag has the same pocket configuration as the Runner's Kit Bag, which is a firearms compartment and an outside zippered pocket. The Snubby Kit Bag Original Pattern has the same pocket configuration as the Original Kit Bag, which is a firearms compartment, main storage compartment, and outside zippered pocket.
There is a Kit Bag Comparison Chart in the images of every Kit Bag product page.
Q6. Should I get the Prairie or Recon Belt?
Answer:
The Prairie Belt is required for our larger packs, such as the Ute, Decker, and qui-Ya. You can technically use the Recon Belt, but it is not optimal. The Recon Belt will work for the AHBC, Umlindi, or M2016 Butt Pack. If you are a 32" or 34" waist size, we recommend using the Prairie Belt instead of the Recon Belt. You can use the Prairie Belt with just the thinner foam pad to make it thin like the Recon. You will find the 33+ Recon Belt to be too big, and the 27+ Recon belt too small, if you fit into that waist range.
Q7. How am I supposed to fit the pack?
Q8. Will the Lever Light Mount fit this gun?
Q9. Is the rip stop material as durable as the Cordura?
Answer:
The ripstop material is not quite as durable as Cordura, but that's not to say it is a weak fabric either. The weight savings a negligible compared to Cordura. We provide it as an option, in certain products, to give our gear a different appearance.
Q10. Where can I see HPG products in person?
Q11. Does HPG offer group buy discounts?
Answer:
We do not offer group buy discounts. We are a direct to consumer pricing model and our products are already discounted, rather than building in extra margins to account for discounts.
Q12. Can I get parts (webbing, buckles) from HPG?
Q13. Does HPG do Custom Orders?
Answer:
We do not do custom orders. We do not have the manpower to handle custom orders. We do special runs, of certain colors of our products, if enough people are interested. Email
info@hillpeoplegear.com to be placed on a notification list for a certain product in a certain color. If we do make the item in that color, we will email you, letting you know they are available for purchase.
Q14. Can HPG Modify a piece of gear for me?
Answer:
We do not have the time, manpower, or mission to modify our gear or any other manufacturer's gear. There are people out there who make a living modifying gear, this is not our business model.
Q15. Does HPG accept returns/exchanges?
Q16. When will this item be back in stock?
Answer:
Most of our standard stocking colors are usually available, or will be in stock shortly (2-3 weeks). Our regular stocking colors are our highest priority. We understand people want to plan for when something will be available, but we spend more time than we should answering emails about when something should be in stock.
We do not have the time to let people know when each special run will be available. We will notifiy you if you are on the notification list. You can sign up for notifications directly from the product page by adding the item to your cart.
