Dimensional Volume (DV) is NOT the number used by manufacturers to denote capacity. To get a cubic inch number that you can use to compare to what you're accustomed to, multiply DV by 1.5 as a rule of thumb. Bigger packs can use an even bigger multiplier - up to 1.7.

This is a velcro based belt with a unique closure mechanism from our friends at Oneiros Valley Innovations. The rear portion of the belt has a loop on it that the front portion of the belt goes through. This allows you to easily adjust the tension on this buckle-less belt. We asked them to do a collaborative version of their belt using our webbing setup of choice (double layer 1.5" 17337) and a couple of other details. This belt is fairly thin and behaves more like clothing than a belt -- which is nice under a pack. On the other hand, it is just stiff enough to adequately support an IWB or trigger guard holster for when you're in transit to the trail.
Edward Curtis Canyon De Chelly
When humans first set foot in a new continent, they came in small groups under their own power, bringing only the gear they needed. Most simply called themselves The People. Over time, those who chose the rougher freer life of the up country came to think of themselves as the Hill People.
